Internal Journeys; Papers Well Traveled - 2018
The creation becomes a process between her and the collage – a creative process where the composition needs to “work” in all directions. There is no specified top or bottom, and no left or right. The spectator is urged to change the “hanging,” to turn the composition up and down, left and right. The work is not titled. She does not want to trap the viewer into her thoughts. She invites us to explore, to assess, to grow. This experience will be alluring to some spectators, challenging to others.
